【摘要】:Thecompositionoftheoilincludedinrubbercompoundshasalargeeffectonthecharacteristicsandusesofthecompounds.Thedeterminationofthesaturates,aromatics,andpolarcompoundsisakeyanalysisofthiscomposition.Thedeterminationofthesaturates,aromatics,andpolarcompoundsandfurtheranalysisofthefractionsproducedisoftenusedasaresearchmethodtoaidunderstandingofoileffectsinrubberandotheruses.1.1Thistestmethodcoversaprocedureforclassifyingoilsamplesofinitialboilingpointofatleast260x00B0;C(500x00B0;F)intothehydrocarbontypesofpolarcompounds,aromaticsandsaturates,andrecoveryofrepresentativefractionsofthesetypes.Thisclassificationisusedforspecificationpurposesinrubberextenderandprocessingoils.Note18212;SeeTestMethodD2226.1.2Thistestmethodisnotdirectlyapplicabletooilsofgreaterthan0.1mass%pentaneinsolubles.Suchoilscanbeanalyzedafterremovalofthesematerials,butprecisionisdegraded(seeAppendixX1).1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Specificwarningstatementsaregivenin6.1,Section7,A1.4.1,andA1.5.5.
