【摘要】:Thisstandarddescribesthemanufactureofcircumferentiallyprestressedconcretepressurepipewithasteelcylinderandwirereinforcementinsizes16in.(410mm)through144in.(3,660mm).Largersizeshavebeenmanufacturedbasedontheconceptspresentedinthisstandard.Thestandarddescribestwotypesofprestressedpipe:(1)lined-cylinderpipewithacorecomposedofasteelcylinderlinedwithconcreteandsubsequentlywire-wrappedandcoatedwithpremixedmortar,and(2)embedded-cylinderpipewithacorecomposedofasteelcylinderencasedinconcreteandsubsequentlywirewrappedandcoatedwithpremixedcementmortar.ThedesignofprestressedconcretepipeisnotpresentedinthisstandardbutisthesubjectofANSI/AWWAC304,DesignofPrestressedConcreteCylinderPipe.ANSI/AWWAC301alsodoesnotincluderequirementsforhandling,delivering,laying,fieldtesting,ordisinfectingofpipe.SeeAWWAManualM9,ConcretePressurePipe,forthisinformation.1.1.1Essentialrequirements.Thepipeshallhavethefollowingprincipalfeatures:aweldedsteelcylinderwithsteeljointringsweldedtoitsends;forlined-cylinderpipe,acoreconsistingofaliningofconcretewithinthesteelcylinder,orforembedded-cylinderpipe,acoreconsistingofthesteelcylinderencasedinconcrete;reinforcementconsistingofhigh-tensilewirewoundaroundtheoutsideofthecoreinoneormorelayersatapredeterminedstressandfastenedsecurelyatitsends;acoatingofdensemortarcoveringthecoreandwire,exceptforthenecessarilyexposedsurfacesofthejointrings;andaself-centeringjointwithapreformedgasketofrubber,designedsothatthejointwillbewatertightunderallconditionsofservice.Lined-cylinderpipeshallbeusedforpipesizesuptoandincluding20in.(510mm)andmaybeusedforpipesizesuptoandincluding60in.(1,520mm).Embeddedcylinderpipemaybeusedforpipesizes24in.(610mm)through60in.(1,520mm)andshallbeusedforlargerpipe.Forembedded-cylinderpipe,atleastonethirdofthetotalcorethicknessshallbeoutsidethecylinder.
