【摘要】:Thisguidecoverstheprovisionsforconsistentsafetyconsiderationsinthedesignandconstructionofnewrollerhockeyrinksinordertoreducepotentialsafetyhazards.Itisintendedtostandardizegameconditionsandestablishguidelinesthatwillprovidealevelofconformityforthepurposeofcompetitionandreducepotentialhazardstoplayersandgameofficials.Thisguideshouldbetakenintoconsiderationbyarchitects,designers,engineers,constructioncontractors,andappropriateinspectorswhomaybeinvolvedinthedesignandconstructionofnewrollerhockeyrinks.Thisguideappliestothedevelopmentofnewarenasandtoexistingfacilitiesthatwillberenovated.Thisguidetakesintoconsiderationthatmosticehockeyrinkswithconcretesurfacescanbeacceptableforrollerhockey.However,dasherboardsmustmeetcriteriarespectiveofthespecificactivity.Facilitiesdesignedandconstructedforrollerhockeymaynotbeacceptableforicehockeyuse.Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
